Country singer Jason Aldean's music career started in 1998 when he moved to Nashville after signing a songwriting contract with Warner Chappell Publishing. His eponymous debut album was released in 2005 through independent label Broken Bow Records. The record was certified platinum by the RIAA in 2007, the first of Aldean's six studio albums to do so, with his 2012 album Night Train certified as double-platinum and his 2010 album My Kinda Party certified as triple-platinum. Aldean has album sales of over ten million, with fourteen singles reaching number one on either the Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts, and a further eight in the top 10.
