The duo from New Orleans began their journey in music by uploading self produced tracks on SoundCloud. Soon enough they gained incredible traction on the platform and clocked in millions of streams. Suicideboys began releasing music on other platforms in forms if mixtapes and EPs. Their 2106 EP Radical $uicide was their first ever record to chart on Billboard, peaking at number 17 on the R&B/Hip-hop Albums chart. In 2018, their debut album I Want to Die in New Orleans sold over half a million copies and broke into the Billboard 200, peaking at number 9. Since then, the underground rap act has gained incredible traction on the mainstream circuit, further solidifying their influence.
Singer-songwriter and rapper Destroy Lonely signed with Interscope Records and released his debut album If Looks Could Kill in 2023. The charted at number 4 on Billboards Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 18 on the Billboard 200. The follow up effort Love Lasts Forever, did even better and peaked at number 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Destroy Lonely is anticiapted to release his latest album Drop Dead Gorgeous this 2026.
