Excision always makes a splash when he hits the stage - there’s no denying that. And given his superstar EDM status, there’s also no telling what he’ll play any given night as he takes the decks at various locations across the world. And on his 2025 Nexus Tour across the globe, Excision has planned an extra special pair of shows right here in the city - dubbed the Mile High sets. And we’d be silly to think X wasn’t hitting anywhere else while he pops out this year at various venues any and everywhere. He’ll also be going to The SILO in Dallas, EDC Las Vegas, The Gorge in Washington and Lost Lands in Ohio (both of which he plans and puts on), Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival, and of course - a very special two nights in the mile high city.
Excision is no secret if you love electronic music and dirty bass - or if you’ve been to a festival he’s playing at and heard the beat drop from the stage next door. With a casual attitude and highly curated sets, Jeffrey Abel (AKA Excision) was born in Canada’s B.C. and has been making music since the early 2000s. He always loved DJ’ing, and right from the get go he was posting his sets and hopping on stages at Canada's Shambhala Music Festival. And after releasing his Boom EP in 2009 and receiving standing ovations from the EDM crowd, he was destined to do big things. And now - with an East coast and west coast festival happening every year, as well as an endless stream of new music always coming from his team and collaborators - Excision is in the perfect place to cement his spot as EDM’s number 1 DJ this summer. Especially when he takes the stage here at Fiddlers.
