2025 Nexus Tour

When Excision takes the stage, there’s no telling how the show is going to go or what we’re going to hear - but it’s almost certain that it’s going to be the set of a lifetime. On his 2025 Nexus Tour, the Denver Metro area will get a special Mile High presentation of the show, and the other twenty-one sets across America are guaranteed to be showstoppers, too. Excision will also be hitting stages at The SILO in Dallas, EDC Las Vegas this May, two nights at Forbidden Kingdom in Orlando, curating Baas Canyon at The Gorge (and playing every night of the festival as well), a night in Chicago at North Coast Music Festival, Dancefestopia in Kansas, Lost Lands in Ohio, and of course - right here in ‘Rado for two nights of face melting bass.

Excision is no secret and, if you love bass and drums and electronic music, then you’ve probably heard his name before once or twice - or been at a festival while he’s playing and heard his knife cutting electronic sounds going off with perfectly coordinated lights in the distance. Born in the B.C. of Canada and at two decades into his career, Excision, who’s real name is Jeffrey Abel, found himself hopping right into the deep end when he got his start back in 2006 - immediately starting to drop mixes of his dubstep sounds, and releasing his EP Boom a few years later. He has created two festivals (Lost Lands in Ohio and Bass Canyon in Washington), and he continues to find new ways to innovate his sound and creativity with every set he pops up at.

And, despite his hard hitting music and ability to make the crowd feel like they’re going into a two hour state of psychosis, recently Excision has been preaching all about that balance and staying healthy. Ahead of Nexus, Excision said on social media "Overworking ourselves tends to get glamourized these days and can be a point of pride, but taken too far is extremely unhealthy," he wrote. "I know it looks like I’m doing an insane amount of shows with the tour lineup announces dropping all the time but I’m actually only playing in 7 cities in the 4 months between [Lost Lands] and the tour starting in February. It’s been great to have more time in the studio and I’ve got a lot of different stuff in the pipeline that I’ve been working on for a long time and coming closer to fruition,” he finished. So - it seems like Jeff has been taking time to R&R, and is ready to give us the best bass bending moments of the entire year when he hits the stage. He’s primed and ready - and we’re so excited to see what he’s been cooking as he’s been locked away in the studio, which we’re sure will make a debut on tour.

Get ready for the concert of a lifetime! See you here soon - right at Fiddler’s Green!
