A Pound of Feather is officially The Black Crowes’ 11th album and it features incredible new titles “Profane Prophecy,” “Pharmacy Chronicles,” and “It’s Like That.” Meanwhile, Whiskey Myers came out with Whomp Whack Thunder last fall which spawned astounding tracks like “Time Bomb,” “Tail Spin,” and “I Got To Move.” Fans will get to experience these incredible hits performed live during the Southern Hospitality Tour. In 1990, The Black Crowes came out with Shake Your Money Maker. This landmark album was deemed a wonderful retrospective trip with the band’s nostalgic vibes and 70s style rock and roll sound. The album spawned several smashers including number 1 Mainstream Rock hits, “She Talks to Anglels” and “Hard to Handle.” Meanwhile, the album became their best selling album to date, earning five time platinum status in the US. The Black Crowes continued their dominance in the southern rock market with subsequent efforts including number 1 Billboard 200 charting album The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, and the Grammy nominated effort Happiness Bastards. Last year, the band received their first nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Coming out of East Texas, Whisley Myers deliver a unique take on southern and country rock. The band’s dynamic tunes and captivating melodies were quick to earn the favor of music fans. Hence, Whiskey Myers made their astounding breakthrough with sophomore album Firewater. In 2019, the band achieved their first number 1 standing when their self-titled fifth album went to number 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. The band had released several platinum and gold selling hits, including “Stone,” “Ballad of a Southern Man,” and “Bury My Bones.”
Hailing from Oklahoma, Southall is a sensation well known in the red dirt music scene. The band came out with their debut album Six String Sorrow in 2015. In 2021, they signed with Smoklahona and released For the Birds, featuring the hit song, “Rose Gold.”
