Jammin De Mayo is an annual festival brought by one of Colorado’s most prominent radio station, Jammin’ 101.5. The station plays urban contemporary music and goes by the tagline “Mile High Vibe.” Jammin’ 101.5 produces the much-awaited annual festival featuring some of R&B, funk, and soul’s most celebrated artists every year. The line-up features prolific artists this year, guaranteed to deliver their biggest hits.

American funk quartet Zapp rose to prominence during the ‘80s. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1980, which topped the R&B chart and peaked at number 19 on the Billboard 200. The gold-certified record belted out incredible hits like “More Bounce to the Ounce” and “Be Alright.” By 1982, Zapp had released their first number 1 song, “Dance Floor,” which topped the R&B charts. The single came from the band’s highly-acclaimed gold-certified sophomore album, Zapp II. Today, the band is led by Terry and Laster Troutman.
